ID Center services
Some products and services are available only in the East or West location. UI Health and Hospital is served by ID Center West. Both Chicago ID Center locations offer the following, unless otherwise noted:
- i‑cards (your first one is free)
- CTA U-PASS cards (at ID Center East only)
- Passport photos
- Dragon Dollar$, Flames Fare and Meal Plan assistance
Cash is not accepted. You may pay for i‑cards, CTA U-PASS cards, and photos with a debit or credit card, or with Apple Pay or Google Pay. Students may charge the fee for a replacement i‑card to their Bursar account.
University units may request these products:
- Visitor IDs
- Department cards
- Conference cards
- Name badges
Units must pay by C-FOP for the cards and IDs they request. Units may require the affiliates they sponsor to pay for their own Visitor ID.
UI Health and Hospital IDs
In addition to the services listed above, the following are available only at ID Center West inside Student Center West:
- UI Health employee and physician i‑cards
- UI Health non-employee IDs (such as Volunteer/Observer and Agency IDs)
- Other UI Health and Hospital IDs
Sponsor authorization is required to obtain any UI Health and Hospital ID.
